Jingxi town

Jingxi township is located in the southeast of Wanyuan City, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, and the downstream of Longtan River, a provincial scenic spot. It is 70 kilometers away from the urban area of Wanyuan city. The traffic is convenient. There are old (hospital) highway and red (rock) Longtan Power Station highway. The village access rate of highway is 100%, and the mileage of village community is 170 kilometers. The communication is developing rapidly. More than 700 program-controlled telephones are installed, and mobile and Unicom networks are opened The household power on rate is 100%. The township governs 12 administrative villages, 63 villager groups, 8200 people (2017), covering an area of 129.12 square kilometers.

In December 2018, Jingxi township was abolished and Jingxi town was established, with the former administrative region of Jingxi township as the administrative region of Jingxi town.

The township has 14315.7 mu of arable land, including 3600 mu of farmland. In 2006, the total economic income of the township was 47.21 million yuan, and the per capita net income was 2473 yuan.
