Zanhuang Town, subordinate to Zanhuang County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the east of the central part of Zanhuang County, bordering Dongzhang township of Yuanshi County in the East, Xingguo town in the southeast, nanqinghe Township in the south, xiyangze Township in the southwest, Tumen Township in the West and xilongmen Township in the north, with an administrative area of 62.81 square kilometers.
In ancient times, it was a natural Town, but later it was changed into Chengxiang Town, and its jurisdiction changed a lot; in 1987, it was renamed Zanhuang town; in 1996, Xigao township was incorporated into the town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Zanhuang town was 66833. As of June 2020, Zanhuang town has jurisdiction over 11 communities and 24 administrative villages, and its people's government is located at 119 Taihang Road, Zanhuang county.
In 2011, Zanhuang town completed 76.2 million yuan of fiscal revenue, including 53.23 million yuan of national tax, 22.97 million yuan of local tax, 85 million yuan of investment promotion, 1.18 billion yuan of fixed assets investment and 2.45 billion yuan of operating revenue. In 2018, there were 217 industrial enterprises in Zanhuang Town, including 5 Enterprises above Designated Size and 40 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In ancient times, it was a natural town. Later, it was changed into Chengxiang Town, and the jurisdiction changed a lot.
In 1953, Chengguan town was established.
In 1958, it belonged to Zanhuang commune.
In 1960, it was incorporated into Yuanshi County.
In 1961, Chengguan commune was established.
On January 1, 1962, Zanhuang county was restored to its original administrative region.
In 1984, Chengguan town was restored.
In 1987, it was renamed Zanhuang town.
In 1996, Xigao township was incorporated.
