Qiaotouxi Township
Qiaotouxi township is located in the southwest of Chenxi County, 47 kilometers away from the county. It is at the junction of the three counties. It is adjacent to Xiaolongmen Township in the East, dashuitian Township in the west, longquanyan Township in the north, huangjin'ao town in Hecheng district and Luyang town in Zhongfang County in the South. Longmen stream and Nongtan stream in the township flow through chenshui. With a total area of 62.62 square kilometers, the township governs 8 administrative villages and 84 villager groups, with a total population of 10787. The total area of cultivated land in the township is 906.4 hectares, including 737.47 hectares of paddy fields. The annual output of grain is about 6000 tons, and the forest coverage rate is 75.5%. It is a typical agricultural township. Topography and climate
The whole terrain is high in the southeast and low in the northwest, with an average altitude of 750 meters. The highest peak is Luozi mountain, 100 km southeast of the county. The main peak is 1378.7 meters above sea level, and the lowest is the water surface where Yuanshui river flows out of the county, 100.1 meters above sea level. It belongs to the mid subtropical monsoon climate zone, with four distinct seasons, no severe cold in winter and no severe heat in summer. It is rich in light and heat resources, abundant rainfall and synchronous rain and heat, which is beneficial to the growth of crops. However, due to the influence of topography, regional and vertical differences are obvious, climate types are diverse, and natural disasters such as drought and flood occur from time to time. The annual average temperature is 16.4 ℃. The annual average temperature is higher in the southwest Intermountain basin, and lower in the northern and Southern Hills. January is the coldest, with an average temperature of 4.7-5.3 ℃, and July is the hottest, with an average monthly temperature of 26.3-28.4 ℃. The average annual frost free period is 287 days.
Agriculture
