Feldspar town

Shishi township is located in the northwest of Wanyuan city. The township government is stationed in yangjiabian, guotuanyuan village, 23 kilometers away from the municipal government. The township borders Taiping Town in the East, guanba Township in the south, Yongning Township and siruo Township in the west, Guandu town and Yanchang town of Zhenba County in Shaanxi Province in the north, covering an area of 116 square kilometers. The highest altitude is 1605 meters, and the lowest is 758 meters. Pingzhu highway passes through the territory. The feldspar river flows through the whole territory and flows into the Shutan river. The territory has undulating mountains, vertical and horizontal gullies, large altitude difference, obvious three-dimensional climate and rich products. The cultivated land is 426.21 hectares, producing rice, corn, potato, rice, coarse cereals, rape, tea, tobacco, konjac, Lentinus edodes, Auricularia, Gastrodia elata, brown, etc., and rich in coal, iron and wollastonite. The township governs 9 villages, 44 villager groups, 2279 households, 8206 people (including 128 non-agricultural population), belonging to the old revolutionary base area. There are 36 private enterprises in the territory (including 4 mining enterprises, 20 transportation enterprises, 3 accommodation and catering enterprises, and 8 resident services enterprises), with a total output value of 18.71 million yuan, 1471 labor exports, and 6.52 million yuan labor income. The total income of rural economy is 48.13 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers is 3552 yuan. The sown area of grain is 1514.22 hectares, and the total grain yield is 5655 tons.

On June 12, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province decided to abolish Changshi township.

The climate in feldspar is mild, with an average annual temperature of 20.08 ℃, an average annual frost free period of 323 days, an average annual precipitation of 890 mm, and an average sunshine of 4.6 hours. The highest altitude is 1605 meters, and the lowest is 758 meters. National Highway 347 passes through the territory, including 2444 mu of farmland, 6127 mu of arable land, and 1 mu of arable land per capita. It produces rice, corn, potato, rape, mushroom, and Auricularia auricula, and is rich in coal resources. Shutan River and Meiya River pass through the territory from north to south.

In October 1951, Shichang township was built. It was named after the Shichang dam. It was originally built in Huilong Temple. In 1953, it merged with some villages in Lu's hometown (jihouba, lujiaba, liangjiaping) to build Shizi township. In October 1958, it was renamed the people's commune. In 1984, the construction system of Shishi township was restored and it was under the jurisdiction of Chengshou district. In 1992, the Chengshou district was abolished, and Wanyuan county directly controlled the people's Government of Changshi township. In March 2014, the streets of Shishi Township and the new market of guotuanyuan village were combined and the Shishi community was established.

In 2016, the township consolidated and developed 120 mu base construction of baotelai order pepper, and developed 400 mu cultivation of Crisp Plum. There are 4 large-scale breeding households with more than 30 beef cattle, 8 large-scale breeding households with more than 20 beef cattle, 5 large-scale breeding households with more than 200 goats, 1 large-scale breeding household with more than 200 fat pigs and Bama pigs, and 2 specialized chicken breeding households with 100 pheasants, 120 Princess chickens and 120 Guinea fowls. Planting honeysuckle, Platycodon grandiflorum, bupleurum and other traditional Chinese medicine 300 mu. Three new summer farmhouses for educated youth attract more than 100 educated youth in Chongqing every year.

The average altitude of the township is between 700 and 800 meters. The territory is lush in forest vegetation. The township has more than 5000 mu of walnut trees and a large number of precious Chinese medicinal materials and rare plants. Wangxingguan, the legendary "Zhang Fei passes three passes at night", is located in jiheba Village (10 km away from the township government). It is said that during the period of the Three Kingdoms, Zhang Yide carried out emergency military affairs and crossed Wanyuan from Tongjiang. There were many passes along the way, so the military situation was urgent. His third brother was ordered to break through the enemy's three passes overnight and rode more than 200 kilometers to complete the task successfully. The three passes he passed were Zhuer pass (in Zhuyu), Yongning pass (in Yongning township) and Wangxing pass (in feldspar). Wangxing pass was the third and the most dangerous pass he had ever passed. When Zhang Fei passed the pass, he defeated the enemy guarding the pass and came to Wangxing pass at the stone village gate of mulou and tied his horse to a fir tree. After passing the three passes, he took some wine and took a rest. He looked up and saw the stars twinkling in the sky in the middle of the night. Facing the mountain wind, he was full of pride. General Zhang drew his sword and wrote the word "wangxingguan" on the stone gate of GuanZhai, so wangxingguan got its name. Zhang Fei passed wangxingguan in the night. The big bear tree, which was once tied to a horse, has grown into an ancient tree that only five adults can embrace. It has also become a scenic spot in the township.

The township has convenient transportation, provincial highway 302 runs through it, the village road is more than 50 kilometers long, with the village access rate of 100%; communication is developed, more than 300 program-controlled telephones are installed in the township, mobile, Unicom and other signals fully cover the township, with more than 1000 mobile phone users; the township is rich in mineral resources, with 4 ore enterprises, with an annual output of 200000 tons of raw coal and 30000 tons of wollastonite.
