Huandong town
Huandong Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Taian County, Anshan City, Liaoning Province, is located in the north of Taian County, adjacent to Heishan County in the west, bordering on Xifo Town, bajiaotai street and Sanglin Town, and connecting Xinmin County in the north, with an administrative area of 97.33 square kilometers.
In February 1946, suixian county was transferred to Liaoning Province under the rule of Kuomintang; in January 1976, suixian county was transferred to Anshan City. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Huan Tong town was 16558. As of June 2020, Huandong town has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Huandong town was 18.83 million yuan, an increase of 19% over the previous year. The local fiscal revenue was 13.6 million yuan, an increase of 13% over the previous year. In 2018, Huandong town had 2 industrial enterprises and 28 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In February 1946, suixian county was transferred to Liaoning Province.
In 1948, the county was under the direct leadership of the fifth special College of southern Liaoning Province (zhuyingkou) and Liaoning Province.
In May 1949, suixian county was transferred to western Liaoning Province.
Since 1955, suixian county has successively belonged to Liaoyang Special Office, Shenyang City, Shenyang special office and Panjin District of Liaoning Province.
In January 1976, suixian county was changed into Anshan City.

History and culture
During the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty (1736-1795), the surname Zhang moved here from the alahe river. It was named after the badger cave on the nearby hill. During the period of the Japanese puppet regime, the street village system was implemented and changed to Huandong.

The memorial hall of Zhang Xueliang's birthplace covers an area of 600 square meters. The main building is four blue brick houses, with a total of three exhibition rooms: the first exhibition room is the inscription of Zhang Xueliang's relatives, old people and people from all walks of life inside and outside the county; the second and third exhibition rooms introduce Zhang Xueliang's life, including objects and photos. His life consists of four parts: young commander's childhood, hard work, confinement life and Sangzi's deep love. In 1993, it was listed as a municipal cultural relic protection unit and the first batch of patriotic education base of Anshan Municipal People's government. In 2003, it was promoted to A-level national tourist area.
