Chengguan Town, located in Guanzhong Plain of Shaanxi Province, is the center of national time service and the center of politics, economy, culture and information of the whole county.

The area has convenient transportation, Xiyu expressway runs from east to west, Pu Tong railway and Weiqing provincial road runs from north to south. Chengguan town has a long history, rich cultural resources, and a great collection of places of interest. There are Nansi Tang pagoda, Beisi song pagoda, Qing Dynasty academy, liulongbi, yanghucheng memorial hall, WANGDING, Linzexu Memorial Hall and other national and provincial key cultural relics. Among them, Tang Song pagoda and six dragon wall are of great significance to the study of ancient architectural history. As a "imperial examination institution" which is hard to preserve, it has a very important basis for the study of the imperial examination system in feudal society. The commemoration of Yang Hucheng, Wang Ding and Lin Zexu is an important historical basis for the study of modern Chinese history. the project of Characteristic Towns in Chengguan town takes "tourism infrastructure, service function, tourism products, tourism economic and social effects" as the important construction content, and pays attention to construction and management at the same time, which has made great progress in the construction of the town. in 2015, Chengguan town of Pucheng County was abolished and Chengguan sub district office was established.
