Shuangyan Township

Shuangyan township is located in the north of Yuechi County, Sichuan Province. It is adjacent to Huayuan town and Beicheng Township in the south, Xinglong Town in the west, Yan hometown in Gaoping District of Nanchong City in the north and Gu County town in the East. The township covers an area of 27.97 square kilometers with a total population of 2808 (2017). There are 30 township government staff, including 11 administrative staff, 1,3 career staff, 2 temporary staff, 1 three support staff and 1 village official.

It mainly produces rice, wheat and corn. It is the origin of China's No.4 navel orange. Now it has a navel orange production base and produces garlic, Maoyan and other cash crops. There are 2 oil roads, 10 roads and cable TV in every village.
