Qinxi town

Qinxi town is under the jurisdiction of Yuechi County, Guang'an City, Sichuan Province. Qingxi township was established in 1921, merged with Shilong Township in 1947 and became Qingshi township. Qingxi township was established in 1950, Qingxi commune was changed in 1958, Guoqiang commune was renamed in 1966, Qinxi commune was renamed in 1981, Qinxi township was established in 1984 and Qinxi town was established in 1992.

On December 11, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved the adjustment of administrative divisions of some towns in Guang'an City (cfzm [2019] No. 16): Tuanjie Township was canceled and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Qinxi Town, and Qinxi Town People's government was stationed at No. 23 Shangjie.

Jurisdiction

Qinxi town is located in the northwest of the county, 31 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 50.62 square kilometers (2017) and has a population of 8504 (2017). It has jurisdiction over Qingxi community and 19 village committees including Qingqiao, Youfang, dabaipo, Qingshan, shiyantang, wannianqiao, zoujiagou, baoxiangsi, sifangzhai, Longwangmiao, Zhoujiaba, Xiantan temple, longshikou, huangshiyan, xiaoqingxi, Guanyinqiao, nanqiaohe, Bajiaomiao and Fengshan temple.

According to a preliminary estimate, compared with the same period, from January to July, the characteristic agriculture of Qinxi town has helped farmers increase their income by more than 14 million yuan, and the average income of the whole town has increased by about 700 yuan.
