Nanyan Township

Nanyan township is located in the southeast of Peng'an County, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, 39 kilometers away from the county seat and 60 kilometers away from Nanchong. It is adjacent to Pulian township of Guang'an City in the East, Yinhan town in the south, Luojia town in the West and Fude town and Xinhe Township in the north. It is known as "Nanchong East Gate" and "pengannan gate". It has 10650 mu of cultivated land, 481 meters above sea level, and more than 30% of forest coverage. On October 31, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Nanchong to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns (streets) in 7 counties (cities, districts) including Gaoping District.
