Dazhi township is located in the northeast of Dongxing District, Neijiang City, Sichuan Province. It is far away from Dongxing District. It is adjacent to Nanxun township of Anyue County in the East, Gaoliang town in the south, Xindian Township in the west, Fengtian of Shuangqiao and Yongfeng of Nanxun township of Anyue County in the North. There is a Tuanjie reservoir, 40km away from Neijiang City, with asphalt pavement. Historical evolution

The name of Dafo Township lasted for more than 100 years. In the late period of the cultural revolution, the former leaders of Gaoliang district changed it to Dazhi Township in order to have new ideas. In August 1992, Dazhi township was merged into Gaoliang town. At the request of township cadres and some people, Dongxing District Party committee and government separated Dazhi Township from Gaoliang town in August 1995, restored the original appearance of Dazhi Township, and restored the original site of dafuchang. in 1996, the government raised 800000 yuan to build a government complex with a construction area of 1426 square meters (excluding 204 square meters sold) at the original address of Dafo grain factory. In July, the township government moved from the old building with 468 square meters to the new one. In 2002, the township government raised 300000 yuan to build a government office building with a construction area of 780 square meters. Since then, the image of the township government has taken on a new look. in December 2019, with the approval of Sichuan provincial government, Dazhi township was cancelled and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Gaoliang Town, where the people's government was stationed at 32 Zhengjie street.
