Shitang street, belonging to Fucheng District, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, is located in the southwest suburb of Mianyang City. It faces Xiaojian town across Fujiang River in the East, Wujia Town and Tangxun street in the south, and Anchang River in the north.

On November 29, 2019, Mianyang Municipal People's Government approved the adjustment of the administrative divisions of Chengbei street in Fucheng District (mfrp [2019] No. 167): Nanshan street was canceled and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Shitang street. Shitang Street office was located at No. 6, Wadian South Road, Wadian village, and governed Yuying community, Dongyue community, Hongxing community, Gujing community, Yuxin community and Yuxin community There are 10 communities including an community, Xihe Road community, Shitang Road community, xiaofuqiao community and Nanshan community, and 4 administrative villages including Panlong village, Wadian village, Fanjia village and Jinshui village.

Historical evolution

Shitang street is under the jurisdiction of Fucheng District, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province. It evolved from the original Shitang town.

In 1939, Shitang township was first built, with the name of "Shi" in Shiqiaopu in the northwest of the township and "Tang" in shiyantang in the southeast of the township.

In 1949, Shitang was liberated. In 1950, Shitang was established and still known as Shitang township. In the same year, land reform was carried out.

In October 1958, Shitang people's commune was jointly established by 13 high-level agricultural cooperatives, implementing the integration of government and society.

In 1967, at the beginning of the cultural revolution, it was renamed May 1 commune.

In 1978, it was renamed Shitang commune.

In 1983, the commune system was abolished and Shitang township was restored, belonging to a suburban area.

In 1992, Shitang town was established.

In 2018, Shitang town was abolished and Shitang street was established in Mianyang City.
