Hongjia Street
Hongjia street is under the jurisdiction of Jiaojiang District, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is located in the South Gate of Jiaojiang River, bordering Luqiao in the south, Taizhou Development Zone in the north, Taizhou green heart in the west, Xiachen street in the East, passing by provincial highway 75, and 5km away from Luqiao Airport. It is a prosperous, civilized and beautiful new city in Taizhou. It has 37 administrative villages and 1 community.
Historical evolution
Hongjia Street area was close to the sea in Tang Dynasty, and was often inhabited by hongniao, which was called Hongjia. During the Yuan Dynasty (1341-1368), the Hong family name moved in from laochuan. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1662-1723), it developed into a big surname with the largest population of local residents, so it was renamed Hongjia. Located in the trade center of rural market, it is one of the four bull markets in Huangyan County, commonly known as hongjiachang. During the period of the Republic of China, it was the residence of Shuanghong District Office in Huangyan county. In 1958, it was changed into Hongjia management area of Haimen people's commune. In 1961, it was changed into Hongjia people's commune. In 1983, it was renamed Hong's hometown. In 1984, it was transferred from Huangyan county to Jiaojiang city. In June 1985, it was changed into Hongjia town. In 1992, Jiaojiang City withdrew the township and expanded the town, LINGJI Township and zhaoqiao Township were merged into Hongjia Town, and in November 2001, Taizhou city changed its administrative region into Hongjia sub district office.

In 2005, the total output value of industry and agriculture was 8.615 billion yuan, the delivery value of foreign trade was 1.28 billion yuan, and the fiscal revenue was 151 million yuan, including 51 million yuan of local fiscal revenue and 9060 yuan of per capita income of farmers.
