Shijialiang town

Shijialiang Town, belonging to Beibei District of Chongqing, is located in the southeast of Beibei District, at the mouth of Guanyin gorge on the West Bank of Jialing. It faces Shuitu town across the river in the East, caijiagang town in the south, Zhongliang mountains in the west, longfengqiao street in the north, and is 9 kilometers away from the people's Government of Beibei District, with a total area of 19 square kilometers.

In 1922, Shijialiang town was called Sansheng Dashi Gongji Shantang. In August 1992, it was changed from Shijialiang town to Shijialiang town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Shi Jia Liang town was 10700. As of June 2020, Shijialiang town has one community, four administrative villages and the people's Government of Shijialiang town is located at No. 15 Lingxia road.

History of construction

In 1922, it was named Sansheng Dashi Gongji Shantang; in 1946, it was named Guanghan society and Yihan society of Shijialiang wharf.

On December 1, 1949, it belonged to Cai's hometown in Ba County.

On April 1, 1953, Sansheng township was established.

In May 1958, Sansheng township was incorporated into the Caijia commune.

In September 1960, it was put under lighthouse commune.

In April 1962, lighthouse commune was separated into Sansheng commune.

In June 1966, Sansheng commune was renamed Xiangyang commune.

In July 1972, Xiangyang commune was changed into Sansheng commune.

In March 1981, Sansheng commune was renamed Shijialiang commune.

In October 1984, Shijialiang commune was changed into Shijialiang township.

In August 1992, it was changed from Shijialiang township to Shijialiang town.
