Dongping town

Dongping town is located in the east of Yongchun County, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, adjacent to Dongguan in the East, urban area, Hushan in the South and Huyang in the north. The administrative area of Dongping town is 4300 hectares, with a permanent resident population of 20414.

Dongping town is one of the famous hometown of overseas Chinese in Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. It belongs to the "half-hour economic circle" of the county and one of the "three-star gongyue" towns with the county as the center.
