Shuangjie town is located in the middle and lower reaches of Moyang River, in the northwest of Jiangcheng District of Yangjiang City, at the junction of Yangdong, Yangxi, Yangchun City and Jiangcheng city. It borders Hekou and Gangmei town of Yangchun City in the northwest, Chengcun town of Yangxi County in the southwest, Baisha street in the southeast, and Hongfeng town of Yangdong District in the northeast, about 20 kilometers away from Yangjiang municipal government. The total area of the town is 68.85 square kilometers (in 2017), with jurisdiction over 10 village committees and 1 residential community.

Traffic situation

Shuangjie town has convenient transportation. 325 national highway, zhangang highway, Yangyang railway, Maoyang and Yunyang Expressway run through the whole town. Yunyang expressway has entrances and exits in our town and connects with Shuangle highway, a county road in the town, forming a better transportation network. The town is 20 km and 30 km away from Yangjiang City and Yangchun City respectively.

Economic situation

Since Shuangjie was designated as a municipal central town in early 2013, it has scientifically adjusted the industrial layout of the whole town around the construction orientation of creating a leisure and sightseeing town. The main development direction is: relying on Yinling to develop the tertiary industry of industry and service supporting, striving to build the "logistics service" base of Yinling; making use of the rich water resources and beautiful natural scenery in the town to build the "back garden" of Yangjiang City; integrating resources, speeding up the transformation of the old area, and building a leisure and amorous town. Shuangjie town is a traditional agricultural town. The main agricultural production of the town is rice, fruit, sugarcane, freshwater aquaculture and animal husbandry. In recent years, the industrial layout of "East vegetables and West fruits" has been scientifically adjusted, and the effect is remarkable. It is planned to plant high-quality rice, pollution-free vegetables and freshwater aquaculture in the East. Industry

The industrial development of Shuangjie town is in the initial stage, and the industrial economic foundation is weak. HENGJIA and Beishan Jiaohua factory are the pillar industries with an annual output value of over 100 million. In 2013, combined with the construction direction of the central town and connecting with Yinling, the new town area, business service industry and characteristic catering industry were planned and developed in Yuanhu area, so as to build it into the logistics "service base" of the park.
