Tortayi farm

Tortayi farm, formerly known as red flag farm, was founded in 1958. Tuoertayinong site is located at the fan edge of the Gaizi River alluvial fan. It is located in the east of aketao County, adjacent to Shufu County in Kashi Area in the north, bordering 41st regiment of the third agricultural division of Xinjiang production and Construction Corps and Shule County in the northeast, connecting with gamatireke Township in the East and pilale Township in the West and south. The area is 6 kilometers wide from east to west and 12 kilometers long from north to south, with a total area of 43 square kilometers.

Tuoertayi farm is located in aketao County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. "Tuoertayi" is Uighur, which means "jujube red foal". The site is 8 kilometers away from aktao County, and 1.5 kilometers away from the main road from aktao county to Kashgar, with convenient transportation. In 2010, it has jurisdiction over 8 production teams and 1 administrative village with a total population of 3827 (2010). There are 1200 hectares of cultivated land and 733.3 hectares of jujube planting area.
