Tongnan Town, belonging to Nehe City, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the south of Nehe City, adjacent to Keshan farm in Keshan County in the East, Shangyou Township in Yi'an County in the south, Hesheng Township and Tongyi town in the west, Tongxin Township in the north, 40 km away from Nehe City, with a total administrative area of 328.61 square kilometers.

In 1916, it was toumian well. In 1984, Tongnan commune was changed into Tongnan town. By the end of 2018, the population of Tongnan town registered residence was 45406. In 2019, Tongnan town governs 12 administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in Tongnan village.

The main economic crops in Tongnan town are sugar beet, adzuki bean, etc., and the main food crops are soybean, potato and corn. In 2018, Tongnan town had 23 industrial enterprises and 55 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In 1916, it was toumian well. In 1932, Tongnan town was established. In 1938, Tongnan village was changed. In 1946, Tongnan district was renamed the Tenth District.

In 1955, it was renamed Tongnan district.

In 1956, Tongnan township was changed.

In 1958, it merged with Tongxin, Xinglong and Kangning townships into Qianjin commune.

In 1959, it was renamed Tongnan commune.

In 1984, Tongnan commune was changed into Tongnan town.
