Labao Town, belonging to Liujiang District, Liuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the northeast of Liujiang District, bordering Yanghe street, Yufeng District, Liuzhou City in the East, Jinde town in the south, Chengtuan town in the west, and Xie Township and Nanhuan street, Liunan District, Liuzhou City in the North. The administrative area of Labao town is 45.78 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of the town was 162380.
In 1951, the town of rabau was established. In April 1954, Labao town was changed into Labao Township, belonging to the Sixth District of Liujiang county. In 1958, Labao township was transformed into red flag commune. In May 1959, Labao commune was established. Since May 1966, Jinde district and Jinde Commune have been established successively. In November 1979, Labao town was restored. As of June 2020, Labao town has jurisdiction over 16 communities and 6 administrative villages. The town people's government is located at 72 Liuxi road.
In 2018, there were 747 industrial enterprises in Labao Town, including 19 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 620 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1951, the town of rabau was established.
In April 1954, Labao town was changed into Labao Township, belonging to the Sixth District of Liujiang county.
In 1958, Labao township was transformed into red flag commune.
In May 1959, Labao commune was established.
Since May 1966, Jinde district and Jinde Commune have been established successively.
In November 1979, Labao town was restored.

hydrology
Labao town belongs to Liujiang River system. Jiuqu River flows eastward from Beigong reservoir of Chengtuan town in the west to Labao Huangling village through Gantang village, Lingjiang village, Chengtuan village and Lubi village, and then flows into Chashan village of Jinde town after passing through muluobo village, Labao Xintian, Sixian Zhangmu and Jiandu village. After joining with Muluo River, Jiuqu River flows out of Jilong village and finally into Daqiao River, with a length of about 8 km. Muluo river flows eastward from Gongnong reservoir of Sandu town in the West Through Gongnong village, Longxing village, Bailu village, Liwan village and Darong village of Chengtuan Town, it enters Muluo village Du Village of Labao Town, then flows into Loushan village committee of Jinde town and joins Jiuqu River through Muluo Shuizhai village and Baocun village. Finally, it leaves Jilong village and finally flows into Daqiao river. The river course is about 9 km long.
