Duma town

Duma town is under the jurisdiction of Tianzhu County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province. It is located 16 kilometers to the east of the county, reaching Baishi town in the East, Shexue town in the West and south, and Lantian town in the north. Tianzhu Baishi road passes through it, and every village is connected with cement road.

History of construction

On January 14, 2016, Guizhou Provincial People's Government (QFH [2016] No. 24) approved the removal of county Duma Township and the establishment of Duma town.

administrative division

In 2011, 12 administrative villages and 183 villager groups were under the jurisdiction of the town; in 2015, five administrative villages were under the jurisdiction of Longpan village, Xinmin village, Gonghe village, Qiaoping village and Yangliu village

geographical environment

Duma town is located in a basin with hilly landform, flat terrain and convenient transportation. It is a typical subtropical climate with no severe cold in winter and no intense heat in summer. The air is warm and humid. The relative height of hills in the town is below 15 meters, which is very suitable for the development of planting industry. The citrus planting area of the town is 5400 mu, with an average annual output of 1.8 million Jin and an average annual output value of more than 700000 yuan. It is the main economic source and leading industry of the town. The cultivated land area of the town is 13891 mu, including 9330 mu of farmland and 4651 mu of soil. The total grain output is 77560.4 tons, the total industrial and agricultural output value is 42.9 million yuan, and the per capita net income is 1465 yuan. Farming is the main industry in rural areas. Citrus has become a pillar industry. It is known as the "hometown of Citrus" in Tianzhu County. The main minerals are coal and gold.
