LiuYe Township
LiuYe township is located in the southeast of Dahua County, bordering Du'an County in the East, Liushui Township in the south, Baima Township across the river in the west, Guhe Township and Yalong Township in the north. Township government in douye village, 22 kilometers away from the county. The township has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages (namely: Jiasi village, Heping Village, Huashan village, Chungui village, deli village, Chayou village, douye village, Biannong village, tunyi village, liule village and Nongcha Village), 382 villager groups, with a population of 24529 in 2000 and 28000 in 2003. LiuYe township is a traditional agricultural township, the main crops are corn, supplemented by rice. In 1999, LiuYe Township took the lead in promoting the cultivation of Zhengda 618 and 619 in the whole county, and in 2003, it successfully promoted the corn no tillage cultivation technology, and the grain yield increased year by year. In 2003, the grain yield of the whole Township reached 7514 tons, which was the highest record in history, and made contributions to Dahua County being determined as the corn no tillage cultivation technology project county by the Agriculture Department of the autonomous region. The main cash crops are soybeans, peanuts, black beans, etc. The improvement of agricultural science and technology and the increase of grain output have stimulated the development of breeding industry. Red Army tunnel
In the guka Yao village of Chungui village, LiuYe Township, there is a tunnel built by the Red Army and the red guards during the agrarian revolution, which is called the "Red Army tunnel". Guka tunnel fortification was built in 1924. It is a planned tunnel fortification. The tunnel, about 100 meters long, runs from the bottom of a pigsty at the foot of a villager's building to four directions, East, West, North and south. There is a meeting room in the tunnel. The guka tunnel fortifications enrich the historical materials of the armed struggle in Youjiang Revolutionary Base and provide valuable information for the study of the early Red Army War.
City card in Qing Dynasty
It is located in the valley around guka Yao village, Chungui village, LiuYe township. It is a three stone city pass with a thickness of about 1.5 meters and a height of about 4 meters. The city card was built in the Qing Dynasty for the local Yao people to resist foreign invasion.
