Qijing town

Qijing Town, subordinate to Dianbai District, Maoming City, Guangdong Province, is located in the southwest of Dianbai district (Dianbai district belongs to the legal administrative region, and high tech Industrial Development Zone belongs to the industrial park, which is the agency of Maoming municipal Party committee and municipal government). It is adjacent to Lintou town and DANCHANG town in the East, Shuidong Town, Shayuan town and Xiaoliang town in the south, Aotou town and meihua town in Maonan District in the west, and poxin town in the north. The total area of the town is 80.36 square kilometers (2017), with a population of 72240 people (2017). It has jurisdiction over 17 village committees and 2 neighborhood committees. In the town, there is Yugong mountain (Pan Maoming Memorial Park) temple and religious place.

Township transportation

Qijing town is only 13 kilometers away from the center of Maoming City (Maonan District), and 5 kilometers away from Nanhai street, Gaodi street, Shuidong street, dianhai street and Chencun street in dianbaicheng district. It has superior geographical location and convenient transportation. National Highway 325, Maoming Avenue (gaoshui first-class highway), Yingbin Avenue (Shuilin Road), maoshui line (291 provincial road), Qina line (281 provincial road), Mingmin Avenue and panzhou Avenue are crisscross. Maoming ethylene plant railway passes through the West. Maoming general airport is planned to be located in the town.

Geography

Qijing town is mainly plain with gentle relief. It is located in the transition zone of tropical and subtropical zone with warm and humid climate and abundant rainfall. The annual average temperature is 23 ℃ and the annual rainfall is 1500 mm.
