Lanshan Jiangdong Forest Farm

Yongzhou lanshanjiangdong state-owned forest farm, founded in 1958, is a state-owned forest farm mainly based on artificial timber and supplemented by primitive forest. It has a management area of 9113.9 hectares, a forest area of 8984.5 hectares, a forest volume of 247000 cubic meters, a public welfare forest area of 4511 hectares and a national pilot area of 2561 hectares.

The forest farm is located in the southeast of Lanshan County, 26 kilometers away from the county. It belongs to the mengchuling mountain system at the north foot of the middle part of the Nanling Mountains. It has a northeast southwest trend and a tropical monsoon humid climate. It borders Guangdong and has convenient transportation.

Forest farm resources

There are abundant forest resources, mainly fir forest and Phyllostachys praecox forest. Phyllostachys praecox industry has great development potential and broad prospects. Jianjiangdong forest farm has 4500 hectares of Cunninghamia lanceolata and 1650 hectares of Phyllostachys pubescens, which is rich in Phyllostachys pubescens resources. The forest road is long and the traffic is very convenient. Each forest class has a forest road, which provides favorable conditions for the cutting and transportation of Phyllostachys praecox.
