Wujiagou town

Wujiagou Town, subordinate to Zhuolu County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Zhuolu county. It is adjacent to Zhuolu town and Baodai town in the East and North, Dabao town in the south, Xuanhua District in the northwest. It is 15 kilometers away from the people's Government of Zhuolu County, with a total area of 239.39 square kilometers.

Before 1953, it belonged to Xuanhua District II; in February 1995, Wujiagou Township and Sunjiagou Township merged to form Wujiagou town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Wu Jia Gou town was 13666. As of June 2020, Wujiagou town has 26 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is stationed in Wujiagou Village.

The main food crops in Wujiagou town are corn and millet; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, sheep and poultry. In 2018, Wujiagou town has a comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

Before 1953, it belonged to Xuanhua District II.

In 1954, it was assigned to Zhuolu county and set up Wujiagou township.

In 1955, the junior society was established.

In 1958, it belonged to Zhuolu commune.

In 1961, from Zhuolu commune, changtuan commune was established.

In 1968, changtuan commune was renamed Wujiagou commune.

In 1984, Wujiagou commune was established as Wujiagou township.

In February 1995, Wujiagou township was merged with Sunjiagou township to establish Wujiagou town.
