Xiaqu town

Xiaqu Town, subordinate to Taining County, Sanming City, Fujian Province, is located in the middle of the south of Taining County, 10 kilometers away from the county. It is the nearest town to the county in Taining County, and also the main channel for Kaishan, Meikou, Dalong and other southern townships to enter the city. The origin of place names

Xiaqu, known as "Xiaqu" in ancient times, is located in the south of the county, which means "Xiaqu" according to the meaning of "Shangbei Xianan"; it leads to the villages in the south of Taining, which is called "Qu", so it gets its name. On the other hand, because the Yongxing River and Renshou River converge into canals, the canals are crisscross, and the names of Quli, Shangqu, Daqu, Qukou and Xiaqu all originate from canals, so they get their names.
