Zituo Xixiang

Zituoxi township is located in the southeast margin of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau in Western Sichuan Province, the west of Sichuan Basin and the Yalong river crossing. The county government is located in Ru Long Town, 475 kilometers away from the state capital, with a total area of 801.19 square kilometers.

Historical evolution

In 1911, the county of Huairou was set up in the third year of Xuantong of Qing Dynasty. In 1912, it was renamed Zhanhua County, and Xinlong county was set up in 1952. It is named because it is newly established by the Yalong River. The old name is Zhan Yi, Tibetan is the meaning of Yalong, and the name of the county is changed after liberation, so it is named Xinlong.
