My hometown of fruit

It is located 84 kilometers south of Longshan County, Hunan Province, with Jiashi Township in the East, Liye town in the south, Chongqing City in the West and Guitang town in the north.

General situation

Zanguo township is located in the southwest of Longshan County, bordering Jiaba and Mengxi in the north, Miaoshi and Jiashi in the East, neixi in the south, Guitang and Chongqing in the West. In the territory of beautiful mountains and rivers, outstanding people, rich resources, charming scenery, livestock breeding, fruit and other pillar industries. The total area of the township is 108.95 square kilometers (2017), including 6745 mu of cultivated land, 1530 mu of non cultivated land and 2040000 mu of forest land. The township governs 12 administrative villages, including kacuo, Jinxian, mailong, Shidi, zanguo, Huanghe, kezhai, sanfentian, Wangjia, Lianjie, tuchegou and nazhai, with 67 villager groups and 12584 people (2017).

History of construction

During the period of the Republic of China, it was dada township. In 1950, it belonged to zanguo township of nine districts. In 1958, zanguo commune was established. In 1984, the commune was withdrawn to restore zanguo township. The total area is 109 square kilometers. There are 304 hectares of paddy field and 111.1 hectares of dry soil. There are 12 administrative villages, 2588 households and 10788 people, including zanguo, Wangjia, kezhai, kacuo, nazhai, lianjiehu, mailong, Huanghe, Jinxian, tuche, shidihe and sanfentian. The highest altitude is 1197 meters. The main cash crops were flue-cured tobacco, followed by peanut and sun cured tobacco. Tung oil is well-known both at home and abroad. There are 1 middle school, 17 primary schools and 1 health center.
