Jingzhu Yao Village

Jingzhu Yao Township, located in the southwest edge of Lanshan County, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, is 58 kilometers away from tafeng town. It borders Daqiao Yao Township in the East, Ziliang Yao Township in the north and Mashi Town, Beijiang Township and Xiangjiang Township in Jianghua Yao Autonomous County in the West and south. The township government is located in Jingzhu village, which has jurisdiction over 8 villages and 35 villager groups, including Youai, Shili, Xinzhai, Jingzhu, Shaluo, Pulin, datan and Shibi.

Jingzhu Yao Township, the township used to live in the name. Before liberation, it belonged to Shunyi township. Jingzhu township was established in 1950. It was under the jurisdiction of Jianghua Yao Autonomous County in November 1955. In the winter of 1957, it was transferred back to Lanshan county to establish Jingzhu Yao township. In March 1961, Jingzhu Yao commune was established. In 1984, it was changed into township.
