Qingheng Township
Qingheng township is under the jurisdiction of Zhaojue County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Wupo township was established in 1951, and changed its name to Zhaotong Township in 1959. Wupo was established in 1962, Qingheng commune was established in 1972, and Qingheng township was established in 1984. It has jurisdiction over four village committees: Qingheng village, machunawo village, juetaiwajing village and biziyiyou village.
On January 12, 2021, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved Liangshan Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of Puge county and other seven counties (cfgm [2021] No. 1): layimu township was canceled and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Qingheng Township, and Qingheng Township People's government was stationed at No. 246, group 1, Qingheng village.
Brief introduction of Qingheng Township
Qingheng township is located in the northeast of the county, 24 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 36.8 square kilometers and has a population of 4000. He (Chuan) mu (LI) highway passes through, and meets with Yue (XI) Jin (Yang) highway at Wupo bridge.
Rural development
In 1955, Zhaojue built the first highway Yibin Xichang highway. Nowadays, with the development of the 30th anniversary of reform and opening up, the idea of "building roads before getting rich" has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people and blossomed everywhere. Especially during the "Tenth Five Year Plan" and "Eleventh Five Year Plan", nearly 180 million oil road projects in Tongxian county have pushed forward Zhaojue County's transportation for 10 years, and the highway grade has been improved unprecedentedly. As of 2008, the total mileage of highways in the county has reached 1046 km, including 286 km of cement and asphalt pavement; 47 townships and towns have achieved rural roads, 18 townships and towns have asphalt roads, and other external roads have been extended to 158 administrative villages. The village roads in the other 110 administrative villages have become the golden key for Yi people to get rid of poverty and become rich.
Agriculture in Qingheng Township
Qingheng Township mainly produces potato, corn and buckwheat. Specialty walnut, apple, pear, lacquer. There are copper mines and copper smelters. With the east wind of reform and opening up, the idea of "building roads before getting rich" is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people in Zhaojue, Yi township. With the construction of nearly 180 million oil road projects in Tongxian County, 1046 kilometers of roads reach 47 townships in the county. Today, Zhaojue farmers are not only on a straight and comfortable road, but also on the road to a broad market frontier and strive to build a new socialist countryside. In order to create beautiful mountains and rivers, Zhaojue people try their best to do a good job in greening barren mountains. At present, the coverage rate of forest and grass has increased from 52.22% to 78.05%, an increase of 25.83%.
