Tebu Township
Tebu township is under the jurisdiction of Puge County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It was founded in 1952, renamed Tebu Naiwu Township in 1957, changed to commune in 1973, and set up Tebu Township in 1984.
On January 12, 2021, the people's Government of Sichuan Province agreed that Liangshan Prefecture should adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Puge county and other seven counties, abolish Tebu Township, and put the original administrative area of Tebu Township under the jurisdiction of LuoJishan town.
Tebu township is located in the northwest of the county, 32 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 62.28 square kilometers and has a population of 5671 (2017). It has jurisdiction over five village committees, namely miaoziwan, tebunaiwu, Shengli, Hongyan and jiajiagou.
Tebu Township mainly produces rice, corn and potato. It is known as the hometown of Zanthoxylum bungeanum.
