Buer township is under the jurisdiction of Butuo County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Buer township was established in 1954, changed to Buer commune in 1972, and restored to Buer Township in 1984.
On January 12, 2021, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Liangshan Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Puge county and other seven counties (cfgm [2021] No. 1): the administrative areas of Yahe village and Laoji village in tuojue town were put under the jurisdiction of Buer Township, and Buer Township people's government was stationed at No. 45, group 6, gaqi village.
Buer township is located in the middle of the county, 13 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 50.8 square kilometers and has a population of 6000. County Road transit. It has jurisdiction over eight village committees, namely, zhuerku, labozuo, gaqi, Buer, Luodu, Gaoshan, Rijiu and feilianwu.
Buer Township mainly produces potato, buckwheat and corn.
