Benchu Town, Tianzhu County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, is located in the southeast of Tianzhu County, 40 kilometers away from the county. The town borders dabaozi Town, Jingzhou County, Hunan Province in the South and Maoping Town, Jinping County in the West. The Qingshui River passes through the territory for 17 kilometers, and its water transportation goes up to Jinping River and Jianhe river, down to Hunan, Qiancheng and Dongting Lake through Yuankou, Baishi and Wengdong, and finally to Wuhan, Nanjing and Shanghai in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River.
