Langbahu town

Langbahu town is a part of Nanxian County, Yiyang City, Hunan Province. The town is located in Dongting Lake, is a bright pearl in Northern Hunan. Provincial Highway S306 and national highway g353 are connected with Yiyang, Changde and Yueyang through the market town, so the traffic is very convenient. Provincial highway S204 and national highway g234 pass through the south of the town. The total area is 95.74 square kilometers (2017), and the total population is 46775 (2017). The town gradually formed a vegetable, grain and oil, cotton and hemp, aquatic products and other agricultural production base. Since 2006, the industry of the town has maintained a vigorous development momentum. The main enterprises in the town include Hunan Guangshun Pipe Co., Ltd., Nanjia leather products Co., Ltd., Nanxian Quanfu rice Co., Ltd., Bowen purified water production Co., Ltd., etc. The town has good ecological environment, simple folk customs and clean appearance.

Langbahu town is located in the south of the border between Hunan Province and Hubei Province. It is adjacent to Tuanshansi town of Shishou City in the north, Meitianhu Town, Xinjian town and CaoJun town in Huarong County of Yueyang City in the East, Sanchahe town in Anxiang County of Changde City in the west, mahekou town in Nanxian County of Yiyang City in the southwest and Nanzhou town in Nanxian County of Yiyang City in the southeast. The town is a key town in the northern economic zone of Nanxian county. There are two provincial roads S306 and S204, two national roads g353 and g234, and the intersection of g56 hangrui Expressway and s71 Huachang Expressway at chengjiashan interchange. At present, the planned railways include Changyue Jiulong Railway and Jingyi railway, and the planned Nanxian railway station is tentatively located next to tuhu, Shawan village, langbahu town. The east area of yalangqiao in langbahu town belongs to the planning area of Nanxian county.

Langbahu town is rich in rice, plum blossom, Xianglian, ramie and honey. The level of agricultural mechanization is high. Industry has ampoule, brick factory. Spring Festival Dragon Dance custom, for the "hometown of folk songs.". There are brick chamber tombs of Eastern Han, Jin, Sui and Tang Dynasties, Du Hu tombs of Sui and Tang Dynasties and Liyuan site of Tang Dynasty in Taiyangshan. Pan Zhimei, a famous folk singer, is a native of this region.

Ecological construction

Nanxian Environmental Protection Bureau officially declared langbahu town of Nanxian County as "Provincial Ecological Town" in 2011 to Yiyang Environmental Protection Bureau. After Nanzhou town of Nanxian County won the title of "provincial beautiful town", the Bureau launched another activity to create "Provincial Ecological Town". At the beginning of 2010, Nanxian Environmental Protection Bureau, based on the experience of Nanzhou Town, equipped with full-time environmental protection staff. According to the requirements of "Hunan Province ecological Township declaration and management regulations" and "Hunan Province ecological village creation standard", 26 indicators were compared and improved one by one, assisting the town to re formulate "langbahu town environmental planning" and actively guiding the declaration work.
