Hongjiaguan Bai township is under the jurisdiction of Sangzhi County. It belonged to Yuquan Township before 1949, hongjiaguan Township in 1952, Bayi commune in 1958, hongjiaguan commune in 1961, and Bai Township in hongjiaguan in 1984. Located in the central and southern part of the county, 14 kilometers away from the county government. It covers an area of 147.4 square kilometers and has a population of 23293 (2017).
