Boyang town is located in the northern mountainous area of Huazhou City, Guangdong Province, adjacent to Baowei town in the East, Nawu town in the south, Pingding town in the west, Liujing and Qingwan in Guangxi in the north, belonging to the old revolutionary base town. The total area of the town is 125.9 square kilometers (2017), including 125000 mu of mountainous area, 18201 mu of paddy field and 2865 mu of dry land.
