Siling town
Siling town is located in the northeast of Bazhou District, Bazhong City, Sichuan Province, 29 kilometers away from the urban area. The highest altitude of the town is 1257 meters, with an average altitude of 847 meters. It is a typical alpine, remote and poor mountainous town in the region.
In December 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's government agreed to abolish Siling town and establish Tianmashan town in Bazhou District of Bazhong City. The administrative area of Tianmashan town is the former Siling town and Liugang community, liugangping village, Chaoyang cave village, liujiapo village, Xiejiawan village and xiuxingsi village in former ZITONGMIAO town. The people's Government of Tianmashan town is located at No. 9 Nanxiang street.
The town governs 17 villages (residences), with a total area of 66.69 square kilometers, a total population of 7065 people (2017), and a forest coverage rate of 65%.
