Kaihui town

Kaihui Town, subordinate to Changsha County, Hunan Province, belongs to Baishi Township in 1949, Kaihui Township in 1956, Kaihui commune in 1958, and restored Township in 1983. It is located in the north of the county, 38 kilometers away from the county government. It passes through Beijing Zhuhai Expressway, and has a junction in the territory, leading to 107 national highway.

In 2015, according to the township division adjustment plan of Changsha County, Kaihui town and Baisha Town were merged to establish Kaihui town.

climatic conditions

Kaihui town of Changsha county is located in the East Asian monsoon region, which belongs to the humid climate of mid subtropical monsoon. The climate is mild, with abundant heat, abundant precipitation, sufficient sunshine, four distinct seasons and long growing season. It is the hometown of martyr Miao Boying, the earliest member of the Communist Youth League, the first female Communist Party member, the first Secretary of Hunan Provincial Women's Federation, and the pioneer of Chinese women's movement. Located in the north of Changsha County, at the intersection of Changsha, Pingjiang and Miluo counties, 30 kilometers away from Changsha, the provincial capital. Kaihui martyr's former residence is designated as a national scenic spot, and is also one of the first batch of patriotic education bases in Hunan Province.

Cultural resources

Kaihui Township, formerly known as "Bancang", contains a large number of historical and cultural relics. It is an old revolutionary area with a long revolutionary tradition and rich historical and cultural heritage. It is the hometown of martyr Yang Kaihui.

The former residence of Yang Kaihui, a national key cultural relic protection unit in Bancang Town, is one of the important historic sites in Changsha County. It is also a memorial site for Comrade Mao Zedong's early activities. It is one of the key cultural protection units at the provincial level and one of the important scenic spots on the "red tourism" route in Changsha County.

The former residence of Miao Boying, the first female Communist Party member of the Communist Party of China, and the former site of yangliupo Party branch, the first rural Party branch in Hunan, as well as piaofeng ancient pagoda, Xiangfeng temple and other cultural relics around the town create a strong cultural atmosphere for the town, which makes Bancang have the advantages of cultural town building.
