Laba town

Laba town belongs to Honghuagang District, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province. It is one of the new towns which were built in 1992. It is located in the southeast of Xinpu New District, Zunyi City, between 107 ° 3 ′ 19 ″ E and 107 ° 10 ′ 4 ″ n, 27 ° 36 ′ 18 ″ n and 27 ° 39 ′ 40 ″ n, 25 km away from Xinpu new district. It borders Xiazi town and Xiping town of Bozhou District in the East, Longping town and Tuanxi town of Bozhou District in the south, Shenxi town in the West and Xinpu town in the north.

Laba town governs 7 administrative villages and 86 villager groups, covering an area of 97.13 square kilometers. It has a total population of 6588 households and 28050 people, with a natural population growth rate of 2.58 ‰. The forest coverage rate is 46%, and the forest volume is 165500 cubic meters. No underground mineral resources have been found in the town. The cultivated area is 27688.5 mu. There are 1 optical fiber receiving station, 2 Village receiving stations, 16 school distance education stations and 21 home broadcast points in the town.

Historical evolution

Laba town historically belonged to Zunyi County. In Ming Dynasty, it belonged to "tongpingli" after the land reform, and in Qing Dynasty, it belonged to "Donger district" township Council.

Trumpet district was established in 1951, belonging to 19 districts. In 1956, Laba district (formerly 19 districts) was abolished, and Qingshan and Caomu in Laba district were classified as Xiazi District, while Laba, datu, Lesheng, Yanhe and other townships were classified as Longping district. In 1992, the county's administrative division was adjusted, and Laba Township, datu Township and Qingshan Township were merged to establish Laba Town, which has jurisdiction over one neighborhood committee and 18 villages, covering an area of 132.4 square kilometers. In 1994, Zunyi County assigned the former Qingshan township to Xiazi town. Therefore, Laba town has 13 villages and 143 villager groups in datu and Laba districts, covering an area of 97.13 square kilometers. Laba town abolished its office in 2002 and merged 13 natural villages into 7 villages (Laba village, Lesheng village, walong village, Hongyan village, Gaoshan village, heli village and Longyan Village) in 2003. Now there are 89 villager groups.

In March 2016, the State Council approved the adjustment of some administrative divisions of Zunyi City in Guizhou Province (Guo Han [2016] No. 56): 1. It agreed to cancel Zunyi County and establish Bozhou District of Zunyi City, with the former Zunyi county (excluding shanpen Town, Zhima Town, Shawan Town, Maoshi town, Songlin Town, Xinzhou Town, Xiazi Town, Sandu Town, Yongle Town and Laba town) as Bozhou district The people's Government of Bozhou district is located at 53 West Street, Nanbai town. 2、 It is agreed that shanpen Town, Zhima Town, Shawan Town, Maoshi town and Songlin town of Zunyi county should be put under the jurisdiction of Huichuan District of Zunyi City. 3、 It is agreed that Xinzhou Town, Xiazi Town, Sandu Town, Yongle Town, Laba town of Zunyi County and Beijing Road street of Huichuan District of Zunyi City will be put under the jurisdiction of Honghuagang District of Zunyi City.

Development and construction

It has promoted the adjustment of rural industrial structure. Through the study of distance education, efforts should be made to adjust the agricultural industrial structure, and do a good job in the "five ones" project: (1) to expand and strengthen the pepper industrialization construction project. Focus on the construction of 800 Mu red industrial belt and 100 mu demonstration sites of pepper in each village, and strive to stabilize the pepper planting area of the whole town at more than 12000 mu;

（2） Strengthen the construction project of animal husbandry industrialization. According to the general idea of "comprehensive mobilization, key cultivation, market guidance, scale development, scientific breeding, cost saving and efficiency increasing", ensure that the seven breeding communities established in the whole town reach the standard, and strive to sell 32000 pigs, 1380 cattle, 3000 sheep and 130000 poultry throughout the year;

（3） Develop vegetable planting project. In 2004, more than 5000 mu of kohlrabi was planted and a new kohlrabi processing enterprise was established. Taking walong ginger planting base as the demonstration site, vigorously promote the planting of ginger, virus-free potato and off-season vegetables, strive to plant 500 mu of ginger and 100 mu of virus-free potato, so as to make the vegetable industry develop and grow continuously;

（4） We will vigorously develop high-quality rice and corn projects. In Longyan, Lesheng, walong and Gaoshan villages, we will develop high-quality rice and corn planting, and strive to build 2000 mu demonstration bases. With the help of the leading role of fengxiangba sorghum demonstration site, we should guide the farmers to actively develop Sorghum Planting, rely on the grain and oil company to implement order planting, and build a sorghum demonstration base of 2000 mu in the whole town;

（5） We will intensify the systematic project of agricultural technology extension. We should implement green certificates, improve farmers' scientific and technological and cultural quality, implement the "science and technology into households project", further improve farmers' scientific and technological service level, promote agricultural science and technology into villages and households, ensure that scientific and technological personnel go to households, technical essentials to people, and scientific and technological achievements to fields, and strive to improve the technology in place rate and the coverage rate of improved varieties and laws.

Traffic conditions

There are two main traffic roads in Laba Town: one is Longping Laba Xiazi highway, which runs through the northern area of Laba town in the north-south direction, with a total length of 27 km. It is a main economic channel connecting the town with the outside world. The other is Longping Longyan datu (Gaoshan Village) - Heli highway, which runs through the southern area of Laba town in the east-west direction and connects Xiping town and Tuanxi town in the East. It is the main economic channel in the south.

There are three roads to the village: Trumpet datu, trumpet Hongyan, trumpet Shanglin Heli datu.

Fengyu Bridge

Fengyu bridge is located in Laba Town, Honghuagang District, Zunyi City. It is called Lezhuang bridge. It was built at the end of the Qing Dynasty and has experienced a hundred years of wind and rain. The bridge is made of stone with a length of 16.6m, a width of 3.3m and a height of 5m. The bridge deck is made of wood. There are 7 columns of 28 column heads, with tile covers on top and wooden guardrails on both sides. The bridge can avoid wind and rain. What's special about this bridge is its architectural form. In vernacular architecture, there are stone arch bridge, wooden bridge and jumping pier.

Charming Cave Scenic Spot

"Charming cave" is located in Hongyan village, Laba Town, Honghuagang District, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province. "Charming cave" is about 40 km away from the urban area and 4 km away from the seat of the town government. The cement hardened pavement runs through and the traffic is very convenient.

"Charming cave" is a typical karst landform, and its carbonatite composition is more than 90%. Inside the cave, there are dissolving ditches, dissolving troughs, river valleys and deep caves everywhere; outside the cave, there are green mountains and green waters, which can be called strange cave, beautiful water and green mountains. The "charming cave" is about 2km long. The longest span of the cave is 120m. The relative height difference is 100m. Generally, the height and width are 40-90m. The total area of the cave is about 40000 square meters.
