Yangloudong Tea farm is located in the southeast of Chibi City, with a state-owned area of 35 square kilometers, including 10445 mu tea garden area, more than 5700 permanent residents and 263 CPC members. It has eight branches, three large-scale enterprises and more than 30 private enterprises. The tea farm has 11.83 million yuan of fixed assets, 413.52 million yuan of intangible assets and 552.17 million yuan of industrial and agricultural output value.

Yangloudong Tea farm was founded in July 1950 and renamed as "state-owned Zhaoliqiao tea farm in Hubei Province" on September 25, 1954. In the spring of 1960, the tea farm was renamed as "local state-owned Yangloudong Tea Farm in Hubei Province". It was stationed in Zhaoliqiao, Puqi county and subordinate to Hubei Provincial Public Security department. In November 1969, it was renamed as "Wuhan May 7th cadre school" and subordinate to Wuhan city. In 1972, it was renamed as "Wuhan state-owned Yangloudong Tea Farm" and subordinate to Wuhan city It belongs to "May 7th cadre school"; in 1973, it was approved by e'ge No.1 document and transferred to the leadership of Xianning district reform committee, and in December 1975, Puqi district designated personnel to receive it; in February 1976, the receiving work ended and it was named "Hubei Provincial State-owned Yangloudong Tea Farm", which belongs to Puqi County, and the administrative management was incorporated into the township series; in March 1978, the provincial reform committee agreed to merge "Puqi county model tea farm" into the township series In 1997, Xianning district administrative office decided that the state-owned Puqi Yangloudong Tea farm should be a deputy department; in 2005, it was renamed as "Chibi Yangloudong Tea Farm" with the approval of the Standing Committee of Chibi municipal Party committee No.20 document.
Planting and processing
In 1988, since the introduction of improved varieties of tea seedlings in Fujian, the tea farm began to replant and change varieties, and the construction of improved varieties of tea garden began, gradually transiting to self breeding in this farm. The main varieties are Fuding Dabai, Fu'an Dabai, Fuyun No.6, Longjing 43, chuyeqi, etc. the cultivation time is divided into winter and spring. The main cultivation method is to arrange 2-3 plants in one hole in two rows, with a row spacing of 1.5m. Gradually build a "low, dense, early and abundant" type high-yield tea garden, with an annual output of more than 50000 catties of high-grade tea and 1500 tons of medium and low-grade black tea raw materials. In 1986, the total picking area was 8589 mu, 543 Mu was reconstructed and 25 mu was replanted. The annual fresh leaf yield was 2459 tons. In 2005, the picking area was 8492 mu, and 160 Mu was transformed. The fresh leaf yield was 2185 tons. There are 8 primary tea factories, one primary refining factory and one Poria brick pressing workshop. Its "SONGFENG" series products have won the "China tea cup", "Luyu Cup" and the National Agricultural Expo Gold Award. The main products are: black tea, green tea, black tea, old green tea, Fuzhuan Tea, etc. From 1986 to 2002, the tea farm implemented the mode of decentralized contracting, centralized processing and unified sales. In 2003, the tea farm was restructured and the management mode of "decentralized contracting and open management" was implemented. The contracted households could sell fresh leaves and dry tea by themselves.
