Guanyinyan

Guanyinyan is located in the south of Lishui City, Zhejiang Province, about 1.5 kilometers away from the city. It is located in front of Tianma mountain, facing Vientiane mountain across the river. It is adjacent to Nanming Mountain Scenic Area in the East, Guanyan, Shishan and Xiangshan arch guards in the West. In front of it is a stream from Daliang Mountain - Yuqu. On the other side is the low and flat Jianshan. According to Lishui County annals, "due to the empty cave beside the fish canal, when the flood occurred in the fifth year of Jiaqing (1800), there was a statue of Guanyin drifting into the cave, so it was named Guanyin rock.".

Guanyinyan has been turned into a scenic spot. Although its scenic spots have existed naturally in history, they are covered by the scenic spots of nanmingshan and wanxiangshan, and have been ignored by people all the time. The development of Guanyinyan scenic spot is only in recent years, and it comes from the public. Nowadays, the development has begun to take shape, and all tourists who come here are unique. The people of Lishui sighed that they didn't know the true face of Lushan Mountain, only because they were in the mountain.

Guanyinyan is adjacent to nanmingshan scenic spot and faces Wanxiang mountain across the river. According to Lishui County annals, "because the cave beside the fish canal was empty and open, there was a statue of Guanyin drifting into the cave during the flood in the fifth year of Jiaqing (1800), so it was named."

There are many scenic spots in Guanyinyan scenic area. The main scenic spots are: hanging waterfall, patio, songfenggu, fuchenxia, Guanyinyan, Guanyinmiao, Madame Chen Shifu hall, Shimen, chuanxindong, dishuiguanyinyan, biyutan, Guanyan, Shishan, Xiangshan, Tianma Hengkong, etc.

Standing on the wall of dashuimen in the urban area, you can see the overlapping outline of several layers of mountains in the direction of Guanyinyan, which just outlines the appearance of sleeping Guanyin. From the bun to the body, it looks like the Avalokitesvara lying flat.
