Zhanglin town is located in Zhenping county, Nanyang City, Henan Province. It is located in the southwest of Zhenping county, 15 kilometers away from the county. National Highway 207 and zaohan highway pass through it. The total area of the town is 88 square kilometers, with 90700 mu of arable land.

Evolution of organizational system

Zhanglin people's commune was established in December 1962. In December 1983, it was changed into a township. In February 2011, it was approved by the provincial government to withdraw the township and build a town.
