Shibanyan town

Shibanyan town is a town level administrative unit under the jurisdiction of Linzhou City, Anyang City, Henan Province. It is located in the northwest of Linzhou City, 800-1736 meters above sea level. It is adjacent to Yaocun town in the East, Huanghua town in the southeast, Pingshun County in Shanxi Province in the West and Rencun town in the north. The town is about 30 kilometers long from north to South and 4.5 kilometers wide from east to west, with a total area of 89.85 square kilometers. There are 17 administrative villages and 326 natural villages, with a total population of 6732 (2017).

On July 28, 2017, Shibanyan town was selected as the second batch of small towns with Chinese characteristics.
