Yandianlou Town, belonging to Cao County, Heze City, Shandong Province, is located in the south of Cao County, bordering Daji Township in the East, liangditou town in the south, Zhengzhuang town in the West and caocheng street in the north. The area is 75.53 square kilometers. In 2018, 59142 people registered residence.

In 1958, Datong commune was established. At the end of the same year, Yandianlou commune was renamed as its resident. In December 1983, Yandianlou town was built. In June 2020, Yandianlou town governs 31 administrative villages.

Historical evolution

In 1735 (the 13th year of Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty), the territory was divided into panshili and nanyuli.

In 1957, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged into Yaozhuang village, Tushan village and Dayi village.

In 1958, Datong commune was established, which was affiliated to yaozhuangzhai Township, tushanji Township and Dayi township. At the end of the same year, it was renamed Yandianlou commune as its resident.

In December 1983, Yandianlou town was built.

In November 1988, huoshentai and weizhuangzhai were abolished and merged into Yandianlou town.
