YOUFANGZHUANG Township belongs to Dingbian County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. Located in the south of Dingbian County, it is adjacent to Yangjing town and zhuanjing town in the East and North, tiebian town in Wuqi County of Yan'an City in the south, and Jipan Township, baiwanzi town and Fanxue town in the West. The maximum distance from east to west is 20 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 35 kilometers, with a total area of 252 square kilometers.

As of June 2020, YOUFANGZHUANG township has jurisdiction over six administrative villages. By the end of 2018, 11647 households registered residence in oil village. Historical evolution

Because of the fertile land and abundant grain and oil, the name is commonly known as "grain and oil village". Later, a large-scale oil mill was set up here, hence the name "YOUFANGZHUANG".

Qing Dynasty belongs to zhuanjingpu West Road.

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to the second district.

In June 1936, the Soviet governments of Dingbian county and Anbian county were established, belonging to baiwanzi District of Dingbian County Soviet government, and later to YOUFANGZHUANG Township, the Sixth District of Dingbian County in Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia border region.

In 1958, YOUFANGZHUANG commune was established.

In May 1984, it was changed to YOUFANGZHUANG township.
