Guangzong Town, belonging to Guangzong County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, is located in the middle of Guangzong County, adjacent to Hulu Township in the East, tangtuan Township in the southeast, fengjiazhai Township in the south, Fengzhou town of Pingxiang County in the southwest and Daping Township in the north, with a total area of 64.8 square kilometers.

In 1953, it was Guangzong town; in February 1996, it was renamed Guangzong town from Chengguan town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Guangzong town was 58766. As of June 2020, Guangzong town has 17 communities and 18 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Guangzong town is located in Fuqian street.

History of construction

In 1953, it was Guangzong town.

On December 8, 1958, Guangzong County was incorporated into Julu County as Guangzong administrative area.

On May 20, 1964, Guangzong County was restored to Chengguan commune.

In 1984, Chengguan commune was changed into Chengguan town.

In February 1996, it changed its name from Chengguan town to Guangzong town.
