Lingxi Street

Lingxi street is located in the northeast of Xinzhou District, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, on the upper reaches of Xinjiang River. It covers an area of 33.2km2 and has a population of 19370. It manages 4 neighborhood committees including Songshan, dingjiazhou, Shengli and Lingxi, and 7 administrative villages including Zhangjia and Yuli. The office is located in huangjiashan. Zhejiang Jiangxi railway and 320 national highway cross the middle part obliquely. The Xin River runs through the central part of the country and the naraobei river. Shangrao railway station was moved to Lingxi in 2006.

Evolution of organizational system

Named after Lingxi village. Lingxi Township, Shangrao County in 1949, changed to commune in 1958 and restored to township in 1984.

In May 1993, Shangrao County was transferred to Shangrao City.

In 1997, it covers an area of 51 square kilometers and has a population of 25000. It governs 15 administrative villages, including Lingxi, Zhangjia, maishandi, Gaoshan, Tangwei, Tongtian, Yuli, quanjiawu, Gongnong, Songshan, Shengli, Linghu, Dingzhou, Xinchang and Shaowu. The township government is located in Wangjiashan, 8 kilometers away from the urban area.

In June 1999, the township was set up.

In 2006, Lingxi town was abolished and a sub district office was set up.

Lingxi street has superior geographical location, convenient transportation and developed communication. Located in the center of Huangshan, Wuyishan, Longhushan, Sanqingshan, Guifeng and other five national scenic spots, it is one of the satellite towns in Shangguang jade economic Golden Triangle region. Zhejiang Jiangxi double track railway, national highway 320 and Liwen Expressway pass through the territory in parallel, and the second national defense highway meets national highway 320 here. In particular, the two villages of Songshan in Dingzhou have been included in the overall planning of Shangrao City by the municipal government. With Shangrao City moving northward and expanding eastward, Lingxi street has become a hot spot for investment in the eastern suburbs of Shangrao City.

Natural climate

Lingxi street has beautiful scenery, four distinct seasons, pleasant climate and fertile soil. It belongs to the mid subtropical warm monsoon climate zone, with an altitude of 63-400 meters, an average annual temperature of 17.8 degrees and an average annual precipitation of 1737 mm. Xinjiang River, one of the five main streams in Jiangxi Province, passes through the environment from east to west. Lingxi bridge and combat readiness bridge cross the north and south sides of Xinjiang River. Green mountains and streams set off each other. They are typical natural ecological towns.

In addition, the infrastructure of Lingxi street is improving day by day. There are two hydropower stations and a 35000 volt substation. Industrial enterprises include power, construction, sand and stone building materials, rattan weaving, broken glass fiber, tea, clothing, optics, packaging and printing, chemical industry, etc.
