Hetoudian town

Hetoudian Town, belonging to Laixi City, Qingdao City, Shandong Province, is located in the northeast of Laixi City, bordering Laiyang City in the East and North, malianzhuang town in the northwest, Nanshu town in the West and Shuiji street in the south. The maximum length is 13 kilometers. The largest span of 11.5 km, the total area of 116.28 square kilometers, registered residence of 42376 people (2018).

In 1956, Hetoudian township was built. In 1958, it was changed into Hetoudian people's commune. On April 25, 1984, the people's commune system was changed to township system, and Hetoudian town was set up. As of October 2019, Hetoudian town has jurisdiction over 70 administrative villages. In May 2020, Hetoudian town was selected into the list of provincial cultivated land protection incentive townships (towns, streets) in 2019.
