Chengshang Township
Chengshang township is located in the eastern edge of Xingan County, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province. It borders Fengcheng and Le'an in the northeast and Southeast, Tanqiu Township in the southwest and Qiqin town in the northwest. It has jurisdiction over 1 neighborhood committee and 7 administrative villages, with a permanent population of 15204 (in 2017) and an area of 88.19 square kilometers, including 21582 mu of cultivated land.

Landform:
Except for the valley along the upper reaches of the Yijiang River, the whole township is hilly and mountainous; especially in the eastern border, there are many mountains, and the highest qianshuping mountain is 740 meters above sea level. Yaoli reservoir, the largest water storage project in the county, is located in the northeast of the township, with a total reservoir capacity of 35.82 million cubic meters and an irrigation area of 44235 mu.
Resources and infrastructure
Main characteristic agricultural products: beef cattle, ginger, eel, edible fungi. Ginger, Magnolia officinalis and Hedyotis diffusa were the main medicinal materials, while Cunninghamia lanceolata and slash pine were the main forestry materials. Industrial products: Fluorite powder. Mineral resources: fluorite, gold, iron ore, colorful granite.

The township has a central cultural station, a central primary school, six village primary schools, a health center, a township nursing home and a village nursing home.
Historical overview
Chengshang township is located in the eastern edge of the county, 37 kilometers away from the county. In 1370, Deng Yanqing moved from Yaoli to Shangdeng village to build the foundation. Now it is one of the larger residential areas within dozens of kilometers. During the first and second domestic revolution, it was one of the revolutionary bases in Xingan County. In ancient times, because it was located at the top of the city, it was named the city. From the beginning of 1933 to the end of 1934, under the leadership of Xingan County Party committee of the Communist Party of China and Xingan County Soviet government, fengle, Changle, bee, Gennan and other Township Soviet governments were established under the jurisdiction of Qiqin District Soviet government. Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belongs to the third district of Xingan County. At the beginning of the people's Republic of China, Maling township was established under the jurisdiction of the Second District People's government. In 1956, fengle township was established after the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. In 1958, it belonged to the Qiqin people's Commune and implemented the integration of government and society. In 1961, the District branch was set up, and chengshang and Yaoli communes were established under the jurisdiction of Qiqin District commune. In 1964, the district was withdrawn and merged with Yaoli commune to form chengshang commune. In 1956, it was incorporated into Qiqin commune. In August 1972, it was separated from Qiqin commune and has not changed.
Area and population
It covers an area of 88.19 square kilometers, including 1463 hectares of cultivated land, including 1463 hectares of paddy fields at the end of 2012, 2 reservoirs above small (II) type, 6 ponds, 1215 hectares of effective irrigation area, and 1306 hectares of income guaranteed by drought and flood. The forest area is more than 77000 mu. The permanent resident population is 15204 (in 2017). The main construction sites are Shiling, Guangdong (luggage industry), Shuitou, Fujian (blade industry) and Jiangsu and Zhejiang (plate industry).
Economic overview
The total output value of industry and agriculture is 85.1 million yuan, including 53.1 million yuan for township industry and 32 million yuan for agriculture. The fiscal revenue is 5 million yuan, and the per capita annual net income of farmers is more than 4000 yuan. More than 20 private enterprises have been developed, including Xinlun non-woven fabric factory, Huaxing wire and cable Co., Ltd., Xinheng fluorite mine, etc.
