Furong farm, founded in December 1953, is located in Pengze County, adjacent to furongdun town in the East and West, Huxi in the southwest and Huangling Township in the southeast. The total area is 27 square kilometers, and the operating area is 23000 mu, including 15000 mu of cultivated land, 4000 mu of fish pond, and 4000 mu of forest, tea and fruit. It has a total population of 11108 (2010). It has 10 agricultural units, 18 industrial enterprises and investment enterprises, 1 middle school, 3 complete primary schools and 1 staff hospital.

Jiangxi construction corps was established in November 1969, under the full name of Fuzhou Military Region: the second regiment of agricultural construction division of Fuzhou military region of Chinese people's Liberation Army.

In June 1971, the Construction Corps was abolished and changed into a farm.

It has 6 agricultural branches (15 agricultural management stations and 52 villager groups), 32 private enterprises, three primary schools, one middle school and one health center. in recent years, under the guidance of the strategic decision of the county Party committee and the county government to "focus on the belt and the three decisive areas", Furong farm has been based on stability, focusing on accelerating the development of new industrialization, urbanization and agricultural industrialization, with good economic and social development momentum. through investment promotion, the industry has formed an industrial system with cotton textile processing, oil chemical industry and building materials as the main components, and two provincial leading agricultural industrialization enterprises have emerged. Fanghu brand rice and Derun brand edible oil have won the national green standard product certificate. Driven by the park, agriculture has invested nearly 20 million yuan to improve agricultural infrastructure, basically forming a modern agricultural demonstration area with "square fields, connected roads, connected canals, network of forests, irrigation by drought and drainage by waterlogging".
