Wuguanying town

Wuguanying town is located in the east of Jize County, Hebei Province, adjacent to Pingxiang County of Xingtai City in the north, Quzhou County in the East, Xiaozhai town in the South and Jize town in the West. Wuguanying town is the seat of the ancient Guangping state (equivalent to the current provincial government) and the Alliance of the nine kingdoms. It is located in the old Chengying village. There are ruins in the north of the old Chengying village. It is said that wuguanying was first followed by Jize city. It is said that in the song and Jin Dynasties An official surnamed Wu set up camp here, so it was named Wu Guanying.

The town governs 21 natural villages, with a permanent population of 32597 (in 2017), and a cultivated area of 46988 mu.

It is adjacent to the Beijing Guangzhou railway in the West and the Beijing Guangzhou passenger dedicated line with the longest operating mileage in the world. It is adjacent to Donglu Expressway in the north. The connecting line of Handan Huanghua railway and Xinghe railway crosses the territory in a T-shape and Jize station is built. The Beijing Shijiazhuang Handan intercity Railway (under planning) crosses the territory in a northeast southwest direction and Jize east station is set in the territory. So far, it will become the priority to have railway crossing and highway longitudinal crossing in Handan county It is a comprehensive road network with convenient transportation.

The first district was liberated in 1945, and wuguanying township was established in 1953. It was renamed Xingdi commune in 1958, wuguanying Association in 1975, and wuguanying Township in 1984. In December 2020, the township will be replaced by wuguanying town.

Evolution of organizational system

Wuguanying town has a long history. According to relevant records, it is the alliance of the nine kingdoms in the spring and Autumn period. The earliest records can be found in the history book Chunqiu Jing, which is called "Jize Jindi" (Jin, now the southeast of Jincheng in Shanxi Province), belonging to the jurisdiction of the Marquis of Jin Dynasty. In the spring and Autumn period, the "five tyrants" dominated the country, and there was a pattern of mutual annexation. In order to defeat the state of Chu, the Duke of mourning of Jin was ordered by the emperor of Zhou. After careful deliberation, many efforts and extensive contacts, in June 570 BC (the second year of King Ping of Zhou), the Duke of song (now Shanxian County of Shandong Province), Duke of Lu (now Qufu of Shandong Province), Duke of Wei (now southwest of Zhencheng city of Shandong Province), Zheng Bo (now Xinzheng of Henan Province), Ju Zi (now Juxian County of Shandong Province), and Zouzi (now Shanshan County of Shandong Province) In the eastern Zoucheng area, Qi shiziguang (now in the northeast of the mountain and in the southeast of Hebei), a total of nine princes reached a consensus. A high platform was built in the north of MENGNAN Village (now the north of old Chengying village, wuguanying Town, Jize county) to form an alliance. In the old Chengying village, there is the site of Mengtai, the Marquis of Jin Dynasty.

It is said that in the song and Jin Dynasties, an official surnamed Wu set up a camp here, so it was named Wu Guanying.

In 1975, it was renamed wuguanying Township Association. In 1984, it was restored to wuguanying township. In December 2020, the township was withdrawn to establish wuguanying town. Wuguanying town covers an area of 42.8 square kilometers with a population of 24000 in 1997.

The yield per mu of high-yield households can reach about 2500 kg, and the income per mu can reach 2800 yuan.

Transportation

Wuguanying town is adjacent to Beijing Guangzhou railway in the west, Beijing Guangzhou railway in the West and Beijing Guangzhou passenger dedicated line with the longest operation mileage in the world.
