Dananban town

Dananban town is located in the southwest of Zhangpu County, Fujian Province, 4 kilometers away from the center of the county. National Highway 324 runs through the whole area. Zhangpu station of Xiamen Shenzhen railway, Jinpu Education Park and the planned exit of guwu expressway are all located in the area under its jurisdiction, with superior location and convenient transportation. Dananban town was formerly known as the state-owned dananban farm.

In August 1999, the provincial government approved the restructuring of the town, and in September 2010, it was officially listed. After the reform, dananban town has one farm (13 operation areas, 2 management areas), one administrative village (Xinmin Village), and two industrial parks (dananban Industrial Park, Jinpu Industrial Park), with a total area of 49.51 square kilometers and a total population of 8853 (2017). It is a new round of planning of the county city new area and one of the important investment promotion windows of Zhangpu County.

Historical evolution

During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Chen Wu, a squire, built a "Fengmu Pavilion" for his parents' tomb here, surrounded by wasteland, known as "Da Long ban". "Zhangpu County annals" of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty records: "in the 37th year of Kangxi, Huang Xingzhen, a squire, donated money to set up a Yizhong, which was located in dafangban, fengmuting." Later, Da Long ban changed to Da Nan ban. In the early years of the Republic of China, a Dabu pavilion was built on the site of the former Meilin shop. It looks like the temple of the Duke of land. Some people once sold herbal tea and cakes there, so it is called "Daludian". The predecessor of dananban farm is Zhangpu farm, which was built in August 1935 and belongs to the general farm of agriculture and forestry improvement of Fujian Provincial Department of construction.

In April 1955, the Preparatory Office of dananban farm in Fujian Province was established, with a population of 120 and 82 employees. The employees came from 10 provinces, cities (counties) and returned overseas Chinese from 4 countries. In June 1957, it was changed into the state-owned dananban farm in Fujian Province. In 1958, he received and resettled Indonesian returned overseas Chinese and reservoir immigrants. In 1960, according to the requirements of the provincial Party committee, with the support of the county Party committee, the operating area of the farm was expanded to 180000 mu. In November 1987, the farm was introduced into the first foreign-funded enterprise. By the next year, there were 29 large and small industrial enterprises (excluding foreign investment), with a total output value of 10 million yuan. In January 1991, the provincial government approved dananban farm as one of the first batch of 10 foreign comprehensive development farms in the province, and in June of the same year, it was listed as Zhangzhou foreign agricultural economic and technological cooperation zone.

Dananban town governs 14 administrative villages and 2 industrial parks, including Ciyao village, citanghou village, dananban village, jingangshan village, Lashan village, nongyi village, Qingnian village, Shangpu village, Wupi village, Xialou village and xiaonanban village.

The farm has complete infrastructure, and has achieved the rural cement road to every village. In addition, National Highway 324 and Xiamen Shenzhen high-speed railway all pass through the whole territory, with convenient transportation and extending in all directions. There are one 220kV Tianfu substation, two 110kV substations and one 35kV substation in the jurisdiction, which effectively guarantee the power demand in the jurisdiction. A water supply project with a daily water supply capacity of 100000 tons is under construction. Digital TV, home phone and mobile phone are popular. There is also a health center with complete medical equipment. There is one junior middle school and six primary schools. Postal, telecommunications, mobile and other communication network branches, points complete.

Economic overview

86 enterprises have been set up, including 41 foreign-funded enterprises and 45 private enterprises. In 2008, more than 10 million industrial taxes and profits were generated, and nearly 10000 labor force were employed.

agricultural resource

Agriculture focuses on the development of grain, fruits, vegetables, flowers and edible fungi, with an annual output of 1.8 tons of litchi, longan, banana, peach, plum and other fruits, and cultivation of 35000 square meters of mushrooms. Aquaculture is also gradually changing to scale, and aquaculture and animal husbandry are booming. Over the years, the agricultural cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan has greatly accelerated the adjustment of agricultural structure in dananban, and the new excellent and special agricultural products have been constantly adjusted and updated. The breath of modern agriculture has activated the old industry of the farm, and the "company + base" integrated management mode of production and supply has replaced the single management mode.
